Merriweather FAQ’s
What time is Check-in?
- Check-in is at 4 p.m. If you will arrive close to or after our office closes, please contact us to arrange for a late check-in.
What time is Check-out?
- Check-out is at or before 10 a.m. If you will leave before the office opens at 9 a.m., please come to the office the night before to check-out.
Are you an RCI Resort?
- Yes! We are proud to be a recognized resort with RCI for many years. For exchanges you must contact RCI directly www.RCI.com.
Are you on directly on the beach?
- We are located on A1A (the scenic beachfront avenue which runs the entire coast of Florida). The beach is right across the street, just steps from your room. A cross walk is right in front of our resort and the traffic moves slow in this area. We are said to have one of the best locations for vacationing in Ft. Lauderdale!
How do I make a reservation?
- It’s easy. Either use the contact form provided on our website and we will respond shortly or call us during office hours at 954-462-5356. Please note that a credit card number is required to complete a reservation.
What are your office hours?
- 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. (7 days a week)

How do I get to the Merriweather?
From the Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood Airport:
Take US 1 North to SE 17th Street. Make a right on SE 17th Street (you will cross over a drawbridge) and follow for approx. 2 miles. We are 4 blocks North of Las Olas Blvd. on the left (the ocean will be on your right).
From I95:
Exit onto 595 East. From 595 (passing the airport) take US1 North. Follow the directions above from US1 North.
From the Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood Airport:

Is parking included?
- Yes. One car per unit is allowed to park and is included. (must be registered with office)
