We know that your dogs are part of your family, and we are happy to make them part of our Merriweather Resort family, too. Merriweather welcomes well-behaved, quiet, and clean pets to the resort. If you are planning to bring your pet, we require that you contact the Merriweather before arriving to let us know and for approval.

• At check-in you will be required to pay a non-refundable cash fee.
• ALL pets must be checked-in with the office.
• Pet owners are completely responsible for cleaning up after their own pet.
• All pets must be on a leash while on our property.
• Sofas and arm chairs must be covered while there is a pet in your room.  Please ask the office for “pet sheets” for this purpose.
• Not all pets enjoy travelling.  If your pet does not like to left alone or barks excessively, you may want to consider alternate arrangements while you vacation.
